American Idiot

A story of youth, rage, friendship, addiction, media noise, and the desperate need to feel something real.

A young man stands alone amid a red-lit ensemble and projected media imagery in American Idiot.

Overview

American Idiot is a rock musical about young people searching for meaning, connection, and something real inside a world of anger, addiction, and media noise.

Brian’s production brought the audience inside the pressure and immediacy of the piece, emphasizing the volatile mix of intimacy, alienation, and rebellion at the center of the musical.
